Scored 94% while the Module 3 Exam is due on Wednesday. Haven't even started.
An extension might also be needed -- a second time means there would be no more chance.
The cornerstones of the world of financial derivatives have been seriously shaken since the last few weeks.
Whether that means an end to this number crunching game, or, rather, a beginning of banks relying on more quantitative measures for risk control, remains to be seen.
The grim look of today's sky above the City will, in the end, be repainted with new colours.
Well, may I have the brush, please?

The f***ing CQF
Exam paper for Module 2 finally submitted. Exam sheet for Module 3 is out today. Bloody hell
Shorted so much time/money/efforts for it with the expectation of a good buy-back value.
Am learning options trading and pricing - only to find out that's exactly what I am doing with the options of my future, intuitively.

Exams, again
It came out to be that 80 marks on the 1st exam do not qualify as a truly 'well done' event as I asked several distinction-hopefuls about their scores. A French quant scored 99 out of 100 -- bloody hell. A Hong Kong graduate got 90+. Even an English mate, from a maths background, got 85. Of course the sampling pool is not big and is strongly preferential, but it says the fact that there are geniuses in this field while I am not yet one.
The 2nd exam was forced to be extended for another two weeks. Conflicts between PhD and CQF are causing more headache. Plus other incidents.
Have picked up playing basketball though, as when you fail to impress yourself on talent, you can (sort of) compensate by doing some sweaty sports.
